Here's a special piece of metal wall decor for our aviation fans who like vintage aircraft. It's a special tribute to the Douglas C-47 Skytrain--- a military transport aircraft developed from the civilian Douglas DC-3 airliner. It was used extensively by the Allies during World War II and remained in front-line service with various military operators for many years. For the 82nd Airborne, there were over 430 aircraft in a very tight formation, wingtip to wingtip, for miles on end. Overall, there were 2,000 C-47s used on D-Day....and here's one with the pin-up nose art of "D-Day Doll."
This 12"x15" Classic Metal Sign is made in the USA and would look great in your favorite, room, shop, office, or garage.
