This USA-made 12" by 18" metal sign is a tribute to WWII's 9th Air Force that activated on 1 Sep 1941. The 9th Air Force participated in Egypt and Libya, the campaign in Tunisia, and the invasions of Sicily and Italy. The 9th transferred to England in October, 1943 and participated in Normandy invasion and the rest of the European continent until the VE-Day. A great piece of wall art for our fans of WWII history and the pin-up genre.
